Need more teaching ideas?

There are many ways to use these flashcards in classes. For example, many teachers like to ask the question, “How is the weather today?” Listening to the song, “How is the Weather?” and playing games is also fun.

If you’d like your students to get more practice saying “Yes, it is” or “No, it isn’t” then talking about weather is a great way to get lots of practice.
Rather than asking, “How is the weather?”, teachers can simple ask a series of yes/no questions such as “Is it rainy today?” “Is it hot today?” etc. By doing this as part of your daily routine, students will have many opportunities to answer yes/no questions. Once they understand the process, the students can also take turns asking a partner or the class questions about the weather.
