BINGOBONIC Phonics Has The Best Free Phonics Worksheets for ESL/EFL Kids!
A new approach to teaching phonics to ESL/EFL students with BINGOBONIC’s Free Phonics Worksheets
If you’re tired of the same old, boring, black and white CVC worksheets to teach phonics, then the free phonics worksheets from BINGOBONGO Learning, called BINGOBONIC Phonics, are just what you need. BINGOBONIC Phonics is a completely free phonics program that’s easy to use and simple to understand. Rather than abstractly teaching sounds of letters followed by sounding out words that EFL/ESL students typically haven’t learned, BINGOBONIC Phonics uses simple words that students already know to develop a natural English phonemic awareness, leading to greater motivation in students and faster progress when learning reading and writing. Best of all, every worksheet in the program has a section for speaking practice to make sure that students are regularly saying the sounds and practicing speaking.
It’s such a simple phonics program because ESL/EFL students can basically teach themselves while having fun doing the picto-puzzle and color-puzzle activities in the worksheets. There are 80 pages of free phonics worksheets in total which can be done daily, weekly, or at any rate that suits the curriculum it’s being used with. If your students are struggling with reading and writing in your current curriculum, add BINGOBONIC Phonics to the homework every week, and you’ll be amazed by the results.
What is covered in this incredibly easy-to-teach phonics system?
The basic concept is the same for every worksheet. The worksheets start with three to five words that a student already knows and uses those to emphasize a single phonics concept. After that, students must write and say the missing letter or letters based on the images in the picto-puzzles and colored boxes. Halfway through the worksheet, the picto-puzzles switch to colored boxes, and students must write the missing letter or letters based on the colors only. Finally, there is a speaking challenge which allows students to review the words and and strengthen the phonic concepts without the aid of images or colors. This also allows teachers to evaluate the students’ progress with ease. Once students have completed the entire 80-page program, their reading, writing, and speaking skills are going to be BINGOBONIC! (And that’s a really good thing!)
By using the BINGOBONIC Phonics program, ESL/EFL students will quickly learn and master the following:

The sounds of consonants and short vowel sounds

What if my students don’t know the words used in the worksheets?
The BINGOBONIC Phonics program uses simple, common words to teach the concepts. Even if your students don’t know the words, there are only between three and five new words for each new worksheet, which are easy to learn. For a more effective approach, we recommend using the BINGOBONGO Curriculum and BINGOBONGO FUN!books. Not only is the entire BINGOBONIC Phonics program contained in Super Easy Verbs & Sight Words: Phonics and Reading Rally FUN!book, but students can also learn over 200 sight words, 100 verbs, and 100 adjectives necessary to pass standardized tests such as EIKEN and TOEFL. Plus all the vocabulary found in the BINGOBONIC Phonics program is taught in the BINGOBONGO Curriculum (Fun!books 1 & 2). You’ll be surprised how fast kids intuitively grasp the fundamentals of phonics and become skilled at reading and writing if they know all the words first.
